What Lincoln families are saying:

★★★★★

"This book is great! It came beautifully wrapped and the book itself is gorgeous. It has tons of ideas of what to do throughout the year. Having lived in Lincoln a while, the places were mostly known to me, but were good reminders of where to go, including some I have only heard of but never visited. I really like how each week includes activity suggestions, recipes, and music to create a whole theme for the week! I also love the principles in the book of slowing down and noticing things around us. I can't wait to try it out with my family!"

— Alice T.

★★★★★

"This is a beautiful, well designed book! We love all of the attention to detail, fun activities & recipes. Also really enjoy the book & music suggestions each week too. This will be a book we'll use for years to come!"

— Krista R. H.

Wilder Seasons: Lincoln Edition gives your family a full year of simple, meaningful time together. Real Lincoln parks. Real activities your kids will actually do. Developmentally intentional, screen-light, and low on prep.

What's inside:

  • 52 seasonal themes that follow Lincoln's natural rhythms

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime.

  • Right away. Orders go out the day after the book is purchased and ships from Omaha to Des Moines within 3-5 business days.

  • Designed for families with kids ages 0–7. The activities each week are adaptable so siblings of different ages can do them together. Older kids can absolutely enjoy it all too — especially the outings and recipes. We chose 0–7 as the official range to be safe, but plenty of families with older kids get just as much out of it.

  • Yes. The book is built for any caregiver spending time with young kids — parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nannies. The activities don't assume prior planning, special supplies, or Pinterest skills. It also makes a beautiful baby shower, birthday, or new-grandparent gift.

  • No. Activities are intentionally low-prep using things most families already have at home, plus simple outings to local Des Moines spots. Most weeks need 15 minutes of glance-ahead, max.

  • We only accept returns on books that arrive damaged or defective. If that happens, contact us right away and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. As a small, family-run business with a very limited print run, we're not able to offer returns on books for any other reason — thank you for understanding and supporting our little team.

  • Same. That's exactly who this was built for. Activities are screen-light by design and adaptable across ages 0–7 so you're not running two separate plans.

  • Yes — every edition is rebuilt around its city. Different parks, different seasonal rhythms, different local spots. Same simple weekly structure.
